At BM Motoring Centre We Care For Our Environment And Takes Tyre Recycling Very Seriously.

At BM Motoring, we appreciate that our busy, modern lifestyles contribute towards putting further strain on our planet's environment so we take every step possible to ensure minimum impact on our ecosystem when it comes to the recycling of your motoring products. Many motoring products can be recycled and we believe that it is in all of our interests to take responsibility for this along with making every effort we can to take as much care of our planet as possible. As you will see below, recycling of old product is not necessarily straightforward but we believe that the tyre industry sets a great example through having introduced steps to ensure we look after our planet, not to mention helping keep costs to a minimum for all of us motorists.  

Used tyres accumulate in their millions every year and present a serious environmental problem. At present, tyres are almost impossible to recycle economically and are virtually indestructible. An unfortunate result of this is millions of tyres simply being dumped every year around the world but together we will help through you recycling your products with us.Tyres can be transformed from waste material into marketable products such as new tyres, elasto-polymer based rubber products, industrial insulation, road pavement, industrial and domestic flooring, or geotextiles for retaining walls and embankments as well as converting waste to energy as tyre-derived fuel.

Recycling rubber is a much cheaper and more energy-efficient option than producing virgin materials resulting in savings on production costs and helping to keep our 'the motorists`costs down plus tyre-derived products have lower on going production costs creating savings on greenhouse gas emissions allowing for greater conservation of natural resources that might otherwise be wasted.
